bite your tongue

일기 (Diary)

Today was one of those days when I really had to bite my tongue. During our team meeting, my coworker kept presenting my ideas as if they were his own, and I could feel the frustration building up inside me. I wanted to say something right then and there, but I bit my tongue and stayed calm. I kept reminding myself that making a scene wouldn’t help anyone. Thankfully, my manager noticed my contributions afterward and gave me credit directly. It’s hard to stay quiet in moments like that, but I think I made the right call.
