A random smell can suddenly trigger a sense of nostalgia, and that&rsquo;s exactly what happened to me. It reminded me of my grandmother&rsquo;s kitchen when I was a little kid. I stood there on the sidewalk for a moment, just lost in the memory. It&rsquo;s strange how a scent can take you back in time more powerfully than a photo ever could. I ended up buying a small loaf of bread, even though I wasn&rsquo;t hungry. Some memories are worth a few extra calories.</p>
