I texted my friend this morning to confirm our lunch plans. I asked, ‘Can you make it by noon?’ because the restaurant gets really crowded after that. She said she had a meeting but would try her best. I was a little worried she might be late. Luckily, she made it just in time and we had a great meal together.

오늘 아침 친구에게 문자를 보내 점심 약속을 확인했다. 식당이 그 이후로 많이 붐비기 때문에 ‘정오까지 올 수 있어?‘라고 물었다. 친구는 회의가 있지만 최선을 다해보겠다고 했다. 늦을까 봐 조금 걱정됐다. 다행히 친구는 딱 맞춰 도착했고, 우리는 함께 즐거운 식사를 했다.
