to let down

일기 (Diary)

Today I had an important presentation at work. I was really nervous because I didn’t want to let down my team. I stayed up late last night going over my notes one more time. When the moment came, I took a deep breath and just did my best. My manager said it went well, and I felt so relieved. I think the fear of letting people down actually pushed me to prepare harder. I need to trust myself more next time.
