Today was one of those rare days I actually get to see my old college friend, Mia. We only meet once in a blue moon because she lives across the country now. We grabbed coffee at our old favorite café and talked for hours like no time had passed. It felt so good to laugh about memories from years ago. I really should make more effort to stay connected with the people who matter.

오늘은 대학 시절 친구 미아를 실제로 만날 수 있었던 드문 날이었다. 그녀는 이제 나라 반대편에 살고 있어서 우리는 아주 가끔씩만 만난다. 예전에 즐겨 가던 카페에서 커피를 마시며 시간이 멈춘 것처럼 몇 시간이나 이야기를 나눴다. 몇 년 전 추억을 떠올리며 웃는 게 정말 좋았다. 소중한 사람들과 더 자주 연락하려고 노력해야겠다.
