We had a long team meeting today that went on for almost two hours. Everyone kept arguing about the font size on the new report, which was completely beside the point. The real issue was that the data itself had errors, and nobody wanted to address that. I finally spoke up and said we were wasting time on things beside the point. After that, we actually got somewhere. Next time I’ll say something sooner.

오늘 팀 회의가 거의 두 시간 동안 이어졌다. 다들 새 보고서의 글자 크기를 두고 계속 언쟁을 벌였는데, 그건 완전히 요점에서 벗어난 얘기였다. 진짜 문제는 데이터 자체에 오류가 있다는 거였는데, 아무도 그 얘기를 꺼내려 하지 않았다. 결국 내가 나서서 우리가 핵심에서 벗어난 것들에 시간을 낭비하고 있다고 말했다. 그제야 회의가 제대로 흘러갔다. 다음엔 더 빨리 말해야겠다.
