I had a long call with my career counselor today. She listened carefully to everything I’ve been going through with my job search. At the end, she said, ‘I am working on some other avenues for you as well,’ and it honestly made me feel so much better. I didn’t realize how many options I hadn’t even considered yet. It’s nice to know someone is in my corner, looking out for me. I’m going to stay positive and see what comes up next week.
오늘 취업 상담사와 긴 통화를 했다. 그녀는 내가 구직 과정에서 겪고 있는 모든 것을 주의 깊게 들어줬다. 마지막에 ‘당신을 위해 다른 방법들도 알아보고 있어요’라고 말해줬는데, 솔직히 기분이 훨씬 나아졌다. 내가 아직 생각해보지 못한 선택지가 이렇게 많다는 걸 몰랐다. 누군가가 내 편에서 나를 챙겨주고 있다는 게 참 든든하다. 긍정적으로 마음을 먹고 다음 주에 어떤 소식이 오는지 기다려봐야겠다.
