일기 (Diary)

I took the city bus home after work today. It was pretty crowded, and I ended up sitting in the middle of a long bench seat. An elderly woman got on at the next stop, so I scooted over to give her more room. She smiled and thanked me, which made me feel good. Little moments like that can really brighten your day. I should take the bus more often — there’s something nice about being around people.

오늘 퇴근 후 시내버스를 타고 집에 왔다. 버스가 꽤 붐볐고, 나는 긴 좌석 중간쯤에 앉게 됐다. 다음 정류장에서 할머니 한 분이 타셨길래, 자리를 좀 더 드리려고 옆으로 비켜 앉았다. 할머니가 미소를 지으며 고맙다고 하셔서 기분이 좋았다. 이런 작은 순간들이 하루를 환하게 만들어 주는 것 같다. 버스를 더 자주 타야겠다 — 사람들 사이에 있는 게 왠지 좋다.
