I stepped outside this morning and nearly melted. The heat hit me like a wall the second I opened the door. It’s supposed to be 38 degrees today — this is bananas! I went back inside and grabbed my biggest water bottle before heading out again. Even the shade felt hot. I ended up canceling my afternoon walk and just stayed in with the fan blasting. Summer this year is seriously no joke.

오늘 아침 밖에 나갔다가 녹아버릴 뻔했다. 문을 여는 순간 열기가 벽처럼 밀려왔다. 오늘 기온이 38도라고 하는데 — 완전 미쳤다! 다시 들어가서 가장 큰 물병을 챙긴 다음 다시 나갔다. 그늘조차 뜨거웠다. 결국 오후 산책은 취소하고 선풍기 빵빵하게 틀고 집에만 있었다. 올여름은 진짜 장난이 아니다.
